Surveying Consultants is dedicated to providing accurate surveys and plats produced in a timely manner with the quality one would expect from a professional surveying organization. Surveying Consultants is a land surveying company servicing the Southeast region of the United States. Our primary focus has been on Hilton head Island, S.C., the rapidly expanding Bluffton, S.C., the greater Beaufort County, S.C. area, and the expanding Savannah, G.A. region. We have recently added an office in Rincon, Georgia to better serve the Georgia region. The company was founded in 1983 by Terry Hatchell, Professional Land Surveyor ('PLS'). The company has grown rapidly under his continuous ownership with many employees having been with the company between ten and twenty years. The company’s continuous growth has been due to new business opportunities in the area, and the repeat business representative of the quality and care provided by Terry and his dedicated staff.

The company uses the latest technology equipment including Total Stations, with Data Collectors, GPS Receivers and Robotic Stations. Services further include a full staff of CAD technicians with various print and digital capabilities. Even with these technological capabilities, surveying still requires detailed footwork of uncovering boundary monuments, determining building and property heights, understanding the topography of the land among many other items. Our staff is experienced at looking for and asking the right questions in order to provide our clients with the value they expect.
